Tree roots continue growing and absorbing nutrients throughout the fall to December. With a deep root feeding in the fall gives the tree an instant boost before winter; with our slow-release formula, nutrients will still be readily available in the spring when the roots resume functioning and growth occurs. Deep root feeding not only stimulates growth, it also helps with soil aeration; breaking up the soil so that water and nutrients can easily reach the roots.
